The Emerge features diode laser technology using the principles of fractional photothermolysis. Pulses are delivered as an array of microbeams to create columns of coagulation in the epidermis and dermis while leaving the surrounding tissue unaffected. The body’s natural healing process then rebuilds the treated tissue with new collagen and elastin, which are the building blocks of youthful looking skin.

Before Treatment
The skin needs to be free of UV for 4 weeks, or to have been using a SPF50 if exposing area to sunlight. No fake tan to be used for 2 weeks prior to treatment.
After Treatment
Keep the area cool. No Cardio-vascular exercise for 24hrs after treatment.
The treated area may be swollen immediately after treatment and generally resolves within 24/48 hours, but may last up to three to five (3-5) days or longer in some clients. Common side effects include temporary redness (erythema) or mild “sunburn”-like effect.
