Before Treatment

The area should be free of make-up, deodorant, body/face cream.

The area should not have had any suntan for 4 weeks before treatment.

Avoid fake tan for 4 weeks before treatment.

Avoid waxing/plucking for 4 weeks before treatment.

Just a day or 2 stubble visible for treatment.

Longer hair will be trimmed, this will take extra time and may incur an added cost.

After Treatment

There may be discomfort and a burning sensation for an hour or so after treatment.

There may be slight reddening and swelling.

Painkillers (not normally needed) paracetamol/codeine.

Do Not use Ibuprofen or aspirin.

Long Term Skin Care

Regardless of any skin reaction, you should take the following steps between depilatory treatments;

Avoid UV exposure

Plan your treatments with regards to UV exposure (holidays)

Avoid using self-tanning products during treatments

Treatment intervals;

For facial treatments, you need 4 weeks between appointments, and for other areas on the body it is 6 weeks.
